ones. As a sanctuary for the cremated remains of
families and individuals, the Columbarium is a
warm, tranquil indoor setting of oak and glass-faced
niches in subdued lighting. |

In accordance with the Alberta Cemetaries Act, the
Calgary Crematorium Columbarium provides perpetual
care in this secured and monitored indoor facility.
We are committed to the safe, proper and respectful
care of cremated remains and their urns. Columbarium
services are available to all who wish to create a
memorial, regardless of cultural or religious affiliation. |
Urns displayed in glass-faced niches
must be fashioned out of bronze. Wood-faced niches may
contain urns constructed from other materials such as plastic
and wood. Urns to suit every budget and situation are available
in stock at Calgary Crematorium or by special order. Visitors are welcome year round to this climate-controlled

Adjacent to the West Columbarium, a simple and elegant chapel with
a seating capacity of 120 persons is available for inurnment or funeral
services.
